	Services Estimating Sleenhof Custom Woodworking provides free estimates. The owner and cabinetmaker, Marc Sleenhof, will meet with the client at their home to formally introduce the client to Sleenhof Custom Woodworking to explain the steps involved in designing, fabricating, and installing the client's new cabinetry and, most importantly, listen to the client's needs and wishes for their home improvement project. After measuring twice and before cutting once, Marc offers his professional advice and ideas regarding which design, materials, and finishes will combine to produce the best possible results for the new woodwork project. Sleenhof Custom Woodworking will gladly provide references upon request and can also set up a meeting with past or current clients for you to see examples of our work. Design Marc Sleenhof has many years of designing experience and uses state of the art "Cabinetware" software to generate plans, elevation and 3D rendered drawings of the client's woodwork project. These drawings are very helpful in allowing the client to see what the new cabinetry will look like in their home. Sleenhof Custom Woodworking will usually include one or two conceptual drawings with their free estimate and more extensive, detailed design work can be performed for an additional fee. Sleenhof Custom Woodworking will gladly work and coordinate with a client's interior designer, architect, and/or home builder. Milling & Fabrication Sleenhof Custom Woodworking uses the highest quality, hand-selected materials for your new woodwork project. We are a custom cabinet shop and fabricate the project to match the client's specific choice of design, materials, detailing and finish. The owner, Marc Sleenhof, personally selects, mills, and assembles each piece in our shop to ensure that nothing is lost in communication and that each project is done correctly the first time! Delivery & Installation Marc personally delivers and installs each piece that we build. We will call to set up a date and time which is most convenient for the client. Most projects take one to two days to install since the majority of the work is done at our shop. Our goal is to minimize the amount of work performed at the client's home in an effort to spare the client from unnecessary dust, foot traffic, noise, etc. Marc is very meticulous and always keeps his work environment clean. We specialize in modifying existing cabinetry to fit some of the new larger and/or wide screen and flat screen format TVs. Please note, depending on the size difference between your existing and new TV and the design of your cabinet, this may not be possible. Finishing Sleenhof Custom Woodworking offers a variety of beautiful and lasting finishes including paints, stains, glazes, crackles, antiquing and/or distressing. Each finish is applied as a flat, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss conversion varnish for superior durability. All of our projects are finished off-site in a controlled environment and installed turn-key. Sleenhof Custom Woodworking also fabricates, delivers, and installs unfinished woodwork for the client that wishes to work with their own finisher or apply the finish themselves.
